How do I print from the MFP? Secure print job
Faculty/Staff
Below are the instructions for a secure print job on the MFP. This FAQ includes a Word document with instructions for both a normal and secure print job on the MFP.
Multifunction Printer: Secure print job
Step 1: Click 'Print'- usually found under File: Print. You will be presented with the following dialog:
Click Properties.
Step 2: You will be presented with another dialogue box. In the drop-down menu titled Job Type, select Secure Print.
Click OK.
Step 3: You will be asked to create a passcode for your print job. You will need this code when you are physically at the Multifunction Printer in order to print this job.
Enter your passcode twice and Click OK.
Step 4: You will be presented the same print dialogue box you first encountered.
Click OK.
Step 2: You will be prompted for your User ID as depicted below.
Your user ID is your 5 digit printing code.
Do not change the information in the Account ID field.
Click OK.
Your print job will be now be waiting for you to initiate printing at the Multifunction Printer.
